Modern Acrylic Chandelier | If you are fascinated by the darker side of affordable, you might have already done nearly all of what you think is possible: Walls painted red or black, black velvet drapes, huge silver candelabra sporting black candles, etc. But candlelight might not be practical, would it be? Sometimes good old electricity must take on service to stop you from falling over your Victorian-style furniture. The ultimate object in this respect must be – the black crystal chandelier.
If you haven’t laid the eyes on a single of those, you enter for any treat. Personally, I cannot imagine a more darkly romantic approach to light (or down?) a space. Please note that I am not speaking about a black wrought iron chandelier here – no iron! What I am talking about are few things but pure, black crystal glass. The kind that reflects the lighting just like a glossy black Steinway piano – only unlike an aircraft mirror. The best crystal chandeliers are in the shape of flowers, with leaves and petals which bend and twist the lighting reflected inside them. With just about any color of glass, you will see transparency – but rarely so with all the black variety. Definitely an extremely different lighting experience.

As with any object of beauty, it is going for chandeliers which a little bit of history helps to make the thing even more likeable. Here is a little bit of chandelier history then. My black crystal chandelier of choice can be with the Murano type – undoubtedly about that. These are some with the most lavishly designed glass objects (let alone lamps) available, as well as quite interesting so far as their history goes. According to Wikipedia, Murano is definitely several small islands linked together by bridges and located inside Venetian lagoon, outside Venice, Italy. First settled by romans inside sixth century, it eventually became famous for its glassmaking, after every glass-maker in Venice was instructed to proceed to Murano in 1291 (supposedly to relieve the risk of fire inside city). They were the principle producers of glass in every of Europe for years and years and accountable for several inventions and developments in glassmaking. Especially famous nowadays is the Murano chandelier, that’s created from crystal glass – and completely personally. An authentic Murano chandelier usually includes a proof of certificate signed from the master glass-maker, and even though it isn’t really cheap, your money will actually increase as time passes, which makes it an incredible object for investment. These chandeliers are true art pieces and the black ones aren’t any exception.
